Veera Simha Reddy, the most hyped film of Nandamuri Balakrishna in the recent past is hitting the screens this Sankranti on 12th January. The film is directed by Gopichand Malineni who directed the succesful films like Krack, Balupu etc.. and produced by one of the most successful production company Mythri Movie Makers. The film has Shruthi Haasan, Duniya Vijay and Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar in key roles apart from Nandamuri Balakrishna.

The team is leaving no stone unturned and putting their best efforts to score a blockbuster. S. S. Thaman composed the music and all the songs released till now were received well by the audience. Production team recently applied for the censor formalities and censor happened on 6th Jan. As per the inside reports, Censor board provided A certificate (Adults only) by considering the high dose of violence in the movie and the team asked for UA. Censor board suggested deletion of few scenes to rate the film as UA and the team is not completely ready to delete those scenes as key story will be impacted. Team applied for the re-censor with few changes and censor will be done again on 9th Jan.

Need to wait and see whether Veera Simha Reddy gets UA or A. Films releasing during Sankranti festival get most of the revenue from family audience. It will be a big set back to the team if the film gets A.
