Little Hearts is a youthful Telugu drama that surprised audiences with its freshness. Made on a modest budget, the film leaned on simple storytelling, charming performances, and music that clicked instantly with youngsters. Positive word of mouth turned it into a sleeper hit, especially among families and students who connected with its emotional core.
On the other side, War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani arrived as one of Bollywood’s most ambitious action spectacles. Mounted on a grand scale with star power, slick visuals, and nationwide marketing, it carried sky-high expectations across all versions, including its Telugu release. However, after release, the film failed to receive the positive talk it needed, and its Telugu version could not build strong momentum beyond the initial hype.
In an interesting outcome, Little Hearts went on to outscore War 2’s Telugu version in one of the key overseas territories, North America by the end of its 2nd weekend. War 2 collected $ 815 K from the Telugu version in North America. Little Hearts crossed this mark on its 9th day of the release in North America.
